Sam Kampert
Web Application Developer
Sam’s a Hoosier — and we mean that in the nicest way. Originally from Indiana, he earned degrees in computer science and business from Hanover College. He came to St. Charles for the summer of 2014, but quickly fell in love with the area and hasn’t left since. Today, he specializes in full-stack web application development, with experience in PHP, WordPress, Laravel, and e-commerce platforms like Magento.
Recruited to Hanover to play NCAA DIII lacrosse, Sam soon discovered that St. Louis is a lacrosse hotspot. He quickly found a community through playing and coaching the sport year-round. When he’s not working or on the field, Sam enjoys time with his wife and two amazing kids.

“I love making something more efficient. Whether it be a process, a program, or a habit, solving that puzzle for myself or someone else is always very satisfying.”
“Poor man’s charcuterie board: cheese slices, turkey pepperoni, and ritz crackers. Throw some spicy pickles in there and it’s a party.”
“Working out or doing something physical outside (hiking, sports, etc.). I have my intellectual/creative side and my physical/athletic side. They don’t really work hand in hand, so it’s important to take time out of my day for both in order to stay balanced and healthy.”
“I’m a fish out of water, so find me a body of water to swim in and I’ll be a happy boy. Never fails.”
