Meet Our Team

Abram Siemsen
Digital Strategist / Senior Web Developer
Front-end developer, designer, project manager, information architect… Abe wears quite a collection of hats. He’s spent decades producing electronic media for advertising agencies, businesses and corporations of all sizes — but his experience is only part of the equation. Abe’s ability to quickly understand and examine your message from multiple perspectives allows him to plan, design and build communication tools for you that are well-reasoned, impactful and effective.
Abe grew up in rural Iowa. His first gig out of college was with baseball card company Megacards, which for a brief time in the 90s operated a storefront at the Galleria mall in Brentwood. Those connections brought Abe to St. Louis in 1994 as the initial member of a nascent interaction department at Technisonic Studios. After collaborating with James on multiple contracts through the early 2000s, Abe joined TPI full-time in 2007. He currently lives in Dogtown where he enjoys cycling, spending time with his two teenage sons, and teaching interaction design part-time at Washington University in St. Louis.
Q&A with Abe…
“Ask for what you want. So simple, but surprisingly challenging.”
“It’s satisfying to create and use an effective system – whether it’s a design system, a business process, or a software system. Poorly considered systems quickly degenerate into messes, but good systems bring clarity, efficiency, and feed my engineer’s appreciation for a well-oiled machine.”
“Thai wrap with brown rice and grilled chicken from Crazy Bowls & Wraps. Extra sauce.”
“The Man from Earth. Low-budget, poorly-acted, pseudo-intellectual sci-fi, but for whatever reason, I connect.”
We’re happy to help.
We invite you to connect with our team to partner on your next project or explore whether TPI is a good fit. Take a moment to help us understand your needs, and we’ll make sure the right person responds right away.
