hey, nice tip!
but one question: i'm working on a portfolio right now and i combined 2 sliders with the arrows, so that both slideshows slide when you go on prev and next. the problem is that i wanna combine it with the numeric like when i jump from page 1 to 4, both sliders should be jump as well. Is it possible?

Nice hack. In the second change you could probably just remove the 'else,' and probably do something similar in the first change if you didn't care that the #arrows div gets added for nonnumeric. It can be a hard choice to modify a plugin's code; they usually have a lot of extra code to make them work for whatever settings you give them. Also, if you ever want to update them (unlikely in this case), it can be difficult to merge your code with the new version. I think you made the right choice with this one though, and I love the demo.

Thanks for the code tip. Debugging code embodies the highs and lows... it can be the most unnerving and daunting task ever, but conversely thrilling when you get it to work.

Plus the sliders... now that's just showing off.
