case study - South County Anesthesia Associates
Based in Ballwin, South County Anesthesia Associates is a team of physicians and nurses that work with several hospitals in the South St. Louis area. SCAA specializes in anesthesia and pain management.
The team at SCAA was looking for a number of things from their new site. First, a simple, user-friendly design befitting the level of expertise required of their industry while still conveying a sense of warmth and relatability. Second, messaging and content that effectively served all three of their target audiences: patients, prospective colleagues and employees. And finally, a robust, internal web-application to streamline day-to-day business operations.
The project began with logo design, at which point the dark blue, aqua and white color palette was set, along with the basic design elements of the site. What followed was a thorough re-organization of content, full-scale site design and an on-site photo shoot to capture the true essence of the SCAA team. Actual staff images were paired with commentary from employees to give the site the authenticity and warmth that the SCAA team was after.
Behind the scenes, our custom-built web-application creates a secure and easily accessible means to handle everything from scheduling to vacation management, downloadable forms and company-wide message boards. Access capabilities were divided into four specific levels, all of which can be effortlessly managed by SCAA administration via our Relay content management system.
