Web Application Developer / Programmer

We: Are a St. Charles-based, interactive agency in the habit of being generally awesome. We wear jeans, we tell borderline inappropriate jokes and we churn out consistently great work for our clients. Speaking of clients, we work with a huge range of individuals and organizations on everything from software development for kiosks, to robust web applications, custom content management and much more.

You: You're motivated and focused, and a PHP pro. We're not talking about setting up WordPress sites here... we're talking about actual programming and application development. You don't know everything, but you're eager to figure everything out, and willing to spend the time and energy necessary to do that.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science
  • Intimate knowledge of PHP
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • MySQL
  • Javascript/AJAX and Javascript Libraries (jquery, yui, or prototype)
  • XHTML/CSS
  • XML
  • Experience with unix based systems and windows
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage deadlines

Bonus qualifications:

  • ASP.net with C#
  • MS SQL
  • Apache / IIS
  • FBML and the Facebook API
  • Internet Protocols: DNS/HTTP/SSH/SMTP/POP/IMAP
  • UML, specifically class and data modeling
