Position: WEB DESIGN SUPERHERO

We: Are a St. Charles-based, interactive agency in the habit of being generally awesome. We wear jeans, we tell borderline inappropriate jokes and we churn out consistently great work for our clients. Speaking of clients, we work with a huge range of individuals and organizations on everything from software development for kiosks, to robust web applications, custom content management and much more.

You: A creative and enthusiastic Web Design Superhero. You're experienced and motivated - capable of incredible custom web design and graphic design, creative concepting, and brainstorming on a wide variety of small and large-scale projects. Specifically, you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced team environment that does not require you to wear a hairnet or protective body gear - usually.

Required Skills:

  • Must have very strong creative problem solving skills
  • Must be able to produce pixel-perfect designs
  • Must be able to layout information with strong sense of usability in mind
  • Must have excellent grasp of design principles and visual layout
  • Must be PhotoShop, ImageReady, and Illustrator proficient

Beneficial Skills:

  • Strong grasp of designing for web usability
  • Experience with basic XHTML/CSS and Javascript, and an understanding of how those standards impact design
  • Some Flash experience, including ActionScript
  • Understanding of current W3C standards
  • Experience with Flash and Actionscript
  • Some experience in print and logo design

Position: WEB DESIGN INTERNSHIP

We: Are a St. Charles-based, interactive agency in the habit of being generally awesome. We wear jeans, we tell borderline inappropriate jokes and we churn out consistently great work for our clients. Speaking of clients, we work with a huge range of individuals and organizations on everything from software development for kiosks, to robust web applications, custom content management and much more.

You: Are good at kickball - we could use some help in that department. You're also motivated and focused, and interested in absorbing and applying as much information as you can from us.

You should be studying art/design and or web development, and have some familiarity with web technologies, Adobe Creative Suite software, and HTML. We don't expect you to know everything, but you gotta know something.

Internships are unpaid, but you'll gain valuable insight into what it takes to be a great web designer.
